I just bought it and i think its a good app !!! :)

This app really gets the job done, but what stands out the most to myself is the ability to use iPod music, waaay more simple than that computer downloading crap. But, I would like to see pitch level, which I hear might come out soon. Most prominently though, I REALLY want more skins, the futuristic theme is cool and all, but baby scratchs great visual quality blew my mind. Also as a little tidbit, when I try to get out of precision mode I usually end up nabbing the record and skipping a beat. With that said, Flare Scratch dominates, it really is an elite app. I prefer to listen to my music through this rather than the music app that iTunes provides. 5:5

I just bought the app and I cant figure out how to play the song I want or how to scratch once a song is playing. Help please

Its alright, it malfunctions a lot and is hard to get it to work the way you want it to. Right now, as far as features go, I do like the iPod music import but the app is definitely not worth $5. possibly 2 or 3 would be much more reasonable. However, this review and the price would both be 5 if there are more features added (such as pitch control, as everyone is requesting). Update this to pack more features and fix the bugs and I would give this 5 stars and not regret spending five dollars on it.

Pretty good app. Love to play and scratch my whole library but I would like atleast one other skin option. Looks like H.H. Geiger designed it.

The ability to record your own sample that is in the free version (baby scratch)! Why is this not in the 5$ version??? Also left handed zoomed in mode! Great expensive app! But needs more features.

Its been months come on I want to be able to record my mixes. And chance the skin and add pitch control PLEASE. Especially the skin. The skin makes me sick.

Good responsiveness from transform button allows multiple click flares and even crab scratches. The area outside the transform button will respond as the transform, so you can get 2-3 finger crab clicks on an ipad2. It will take getting used to, but you can do wiggles with your fingertips, but doing super fast chirps wont happen. The turntable just doesnt track fast enough to keep up. The placement of the tonearm can get in the way at times. Wishes: Volume for Loop track, even wider transform area for iPad to allow 4 finger crab click, move tonearm away to opposite side of transform, being able to view iPod library in landscape mode. Again, it takes some adjustment if you are used to the drag of a moving platter, but you can replicate a lot of click scratches and transforms pretty easily. Very good app overall for those who want to throw on instrumentals from their iTunes and have a scratch session.

Its great because you can scratch your library & set a beat loop (also from library) only problem is that its not compatible with 4.0.1 or less. BUT WHY I REALLY DONT LIKE IS BECAUSE: Its harder to control than the Baby scratch, and baby scratch is free!!!

This app was the only reason I bought a iPhone.iam a turntablist and love the battle scene.I wish they make more and add more battle sounds.I would love to see a skin of the technics 1210 m5g(black)... I WANT MORE

Love this app but I need tempo control so I can properly make remixes. The response needs some work too.

hey you know apple is giving new released placement for updates like the old days, right? excellent time to update and give us that pitch control. update to update update...PITCH CONTROL.. itd be nice to have after almost a year.. still nothing compares to flare, but its so limited by not having pitch.. baby decks has it.. i think this feature is well overdue.. djay is a great mixing app, but its hard to use knowing how much better flare is on scratch.. Update to update: glad to see these changes, would trade them for pitch slider..;) But will keep my fingers crossed that it will be here soon. Update! Woa, that import from iTunes collection is a game changer! This answers everyones number 1 complaint about music apps! Kudos on the early adoption! Working great on my 32gb 3rd gen touch. Dont be fooled by cheasy imitators! This is the real deal buy now! Soooo accurate! Its all about tracking.. And this app tracks right back rock solid every time.. the apperance of the dub plate helps with visual markers. Undoubtedly the best(only) turntablist app out there.. really really awesome not just a fun toy (but is, a super fun toy) can be very useful. The battle plates are old skool gems too.. the backing tracks.. Right on.. I have almost every music app in the store this one is #1. Hint for gamers, try playing it upside down with your right thumb on the transform button gamepad style.. If youve got gamer thumbs, youll be cutting on the 16th beats in no time. This dev improves his stuff so fast as iPhone OS evovles, we hardly ever have a chance to complain. Your $8 (now $5) is a lifetime, life changing investment in a really awesome true to life lil touch screen 1200 that ever evolves. This is the fabled wavetwister, pure turntablism.

I cant get mine to do nothing it wont work its probly cuz I got the cloud update

You can scratch any song you want in your library, only thing missing is pitch, skins, looking forward for a future update.
