now i dont about you, but for me djing is half about performance, half about music. I dont think i would use this for a whole performance unless i was doing up some street beats for an MC, (it would be IDEAL for that scenario) but i could see myself switching from my OSC controller program for a minute in the middle of my set to throw a few CUSTOM scratches in.
so, lets see... how would I compare, i have Torq exponent. WAy better than that. Sure, you could look at the rane serato setup, and pay 700$ for the interface lug around 2 record players and a pc...
but to get the tactile interface of scratching and the appropriate oohs and ahs from Every single person ive shown this too.. definitely a five star app.
sure, its a little technical, and i thing it behooves flare to write better instructions than what is given, but it maybe that they have already moved their efforts onto their flagship program, Baby Scratch. As well, some of the difficulty is innate with Ios 3.0. People with Ios 4.0 should be having no issue, please let me know..
this is going to be a godsend to any djs interested in writing tracks for scratching/mixing live. After having downloaded my own beats, i can say this might be one of my favorite apps so far.
